QBEE energy system
Due to the increasingly intensive extraction of renewable energy and its decentralised production, the demands on the infrastructure are changing for distribution purposes: designed purely for a supplier-customer relationship, they must now also be dealt with in the opposite manner. In order to relieve the networks and make electrical energy producers more independent, the buffering of energy which is produced in an uncontrollable manner and thus the increase in internal consumption is becoming increasingly more important.

The QBEE energy system is an innovative energy storage solution for increasing internal consumption in private homes or small businesses. It is designed to store produced energy in its advanced lithium-ion battery system so that it can be used at different times. As a result, renewable energy from photovoltaic and/or wind generators can be detached from the production process and used for longer periods, thereby increasing internal consumption. This increases both the degree of independence from rising energy prices and the security of supply. The system is fully automatic and is structured so that it can be expanded with additional features in the future. The system consists of a transformerless, bidirectional inverter with a nominal rating of 1.5 kWp, a scalable lithium-ion battery system with a storage capacity of 2.0, 4.0 or 8.0 kWh (up to six modules of parallel switching) and a three-phase supply sensor. The QBEE unit is not only for inverters, but also charge controllers, battery controllers and energy managers. Other optional products are available:

The bridge box enables the use of the QBEE during power failures
The IMC master controller to extend the storage capacity or connect another QBEE inverter and the Qdata data logger to connect additional sensors and to transmit the entire measurement data to the Web portal.
The energy system can be used as both an AC-coupled system and DC-coupled system. A hybrid construction consisting of a combination of AC- and DC-coupled systems is also possible. The advantage to this is that QBEE ES can be integrated into an existing photovoltaic system without major installation complexities. The system is simply connected in parallel to the supply point on the AC network. A new system can be directly operated with the photovoltaic modules and the battery.
